Join us for the exciting HOH 5K Run/Walk/Roll on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in beautiful Northbrook, Cook! This vibrant event is dedicated to benefitting the D28 Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund and promises a fun-filled day for participants of all ages. The 5K race kicks off at 8:00 a.m. with a group start, welcoming runners and walkers alike. Feel free to bring your strollers as you enjoy the scenic route, but please leave dogs, bikes, and rollerblades at home.
The race is chip-timed, allowing participants to view their results instantly after crossing the finish line. Plus, at 9:00 a.m., we invite the little ones to join the Kids Fun Run, specially designed for children aged 6 and under. Registration for the kids' race will close at 7:45 a.m., so make sure to arrive early! This event not only promotes fitness and community spirit but also supports a great cause. Don't miss out on a day of fun, camaraderie, and charitable giving!

Organiser's Description
The HOH 5k is the sole fundraiser for the HOH scholarship program. This race is organized by the Northbrook District 28 PTO Council with volunteers from Greenbriar, Meadowbrook, Northbrook Junior High and Westmoor. All proceeds benefit the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund.
5K runners and walkers will start at 8:00 a.m with a group start. We welcome strollers, but NO dogs, bikes or rollerblades please. The lot behind the junior high will be closed from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. for the race. The race is chip timed for instant results of the race. Runners can see their results after they finish.
At 9:00 a.m. there will be a kids fun run. Kids age 6 & under are invited to participate. Registration for the kids run will close at 7:45 a.m.
