Organiser's Description
A fun track meet where we want everyone to enjoy themselves while aiming for speedy new PRs in the 1 mile, 5K, and 4x400m relay. This is a USATF sanctioned event.
This race has a rolling start, with the 1 mi race starting at 6 pm, the 5k after the mile race is completed, and the 4x4 relay as the last event of the evening.
All profits go to the Rice University track team.
REGISTRATION FEE:
-Before Nov 1: Mile: 15$ 5k: 20$ Relay: 5$/runner
-Nov 1-18: Mile: 25$ 5k: 30$ Relay: 8$/runner
-Nov 18-21: Mile: 30$ 5k: 35$ Relay: 10$/runner
_Registration for the mile and the 5k will close at 5:30 pm on race day_
TROPHIES:
1st place male mile, 1st place female mile,1st place male 5k, 1st place female 5k, 1st place relay male, 1st place relay female, 1st place relay mixed team
PARKING:
Free parking next to the track until the lot fills up (use Rice entrance #5 off Main Street), paid parking in all Rice West Lots (walking time 5-10 min to the track)
BIB PICK-UP:
On race day, from 4:30 pm onwards
