Organiser's Description
Join Fernley Animal Control and the Friends of Fernley Animal Services for our first fundraiser to help support our mission of the creation of an animal shelter in Fernley. This is 5k fun run/walk will be held at the Out of Town Park on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Check-in begins at 8:00 am and the race starts at 10:00 am. This is a dog friendly event, and all dogs are required to be on leash while on City park property. Females in heat and aggressive dogs should not attend this event for safety purposes. In addition to the walk itself, we will also be having a costume contest for the most creative, best pet/owner duo, and funniest costumes. Bring your best dressed pooch to the costume contest at 9:00 am. Prizes will be given to the best of each category.
