Get ready for a howling good time at the HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Run on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Lubbock! This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and their beloved furry friends to join in the fun. Choose between two exciting distances: the 2K9 (1.2 miles) or the more challenging 4-mile course. The 2K9 route takes you along the stunning Canyon Lake 6, while the 4-mile course offers a unique opportunity to run through the City of Lubbock Cemetery, honoring the legendary Buddy Holly.
As you enjoy the scenic views and festive atmosphere, you'll also be supporting a great cause, as dog supplies will be collected and donated to Morris Safe House. Organiser's Description
Bring your 4-legged friends, monsters and goblins and join us for this family-friendly event. With 2 distance options (2K9 1.2 miles or 4 miles), there is an event for everyone. The family-friendly course of 2K9 (1.2 miles) will take you along the beautiful Canyon Lake 6. The more challenging 4-mile course will have you running through the City of Lubbock Cemetery and paying tribute to Lubbocks most famous son, Buddy Holly. The course will conclude with a loop around Canyon Lake 6.
Dog supplies will be collected and donated to Morris Safe House.
