Join us for the Third Annual Hugs From Heaven Brenda Potter Memorial Ride & Walk on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Lindenwood Park in Fargo, ND! Kicking off at 6:00 p.m., this heartwarming event features an exhilarating 20-mile bike ride and a refreshing 3-mile walk, perfect for participants of all ages. Registration is just $20 per person, and while we won’t have t-shirts this year, every dollar raised will go towards purchasing bikes, helmets, and devotionals for underprivileged children in our community, honoring the loving spirit of Brenda Potter.
Brenda, who passed away in 2021, was a beacon of light and love, and this event aims to carry on her legacy by spreading joy and support to those in need. The Third Annual Hugs from HEAVEN BRENDA POTTER MEMORIAL RIDE & WALK will be held on Thursday July 17, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lindenwood Park - Main Shelter 1712 5th Street South, Fargo, ND 58102.
This event will feature; a 20 Mile Bike Ride & a 3 Mile Walk. Participation fees are $20 per person. We will NOT HAVE T-SHIRT this year, ALL PROCEEDS will be used to purchase bikes, helmets and devotionals in memory of Brenda Potter for children in our area, as well as covering event operational costs such as shelter rental, event liability insurance and other incremental expenses.

Hugs from Heaven Brenda Potter Memorial Ride & Walk was created to shine the light of Jesus, the very same light Brenda shared everyday through her love.
Brenda was an extremely passionate person who cared deeply about her family and friends, kids, dogs, loving others through incredible hugs, bicycling, gymnastics and Jesus. Brenda passed away on Sept 24, 2021 due to complications from a brain aneurysm. Even though she is no longer physically with us, she was able to give the gift of life to many people through organ donation.
All proceeds from this event are used to purchase bikes, helmets and devotionals underprivileged children in the Fargo-Moorhead & surrounding areas, this is done in Brenda's memory to continue to shine Brenda's light and love of Jesus. We thank all of you for your support and are proud to say we have gifted 17 bikes, helmets & devotional to date!!

This 20 Mile Bike Ride will start at 6:00 p.m., it will be a group led ride, but will not be supported by SAG. Riders are responsible to ensure their bikes are up to date on maintenance, they are capable of enduring the 20 mile ride and providing enough fuel and nutrients for the ride. Helmets are MANDTORY for this ride. The ride will start at 6:00 p.m. and will return to the park by 8:00 p.m. Register early by July 15th for your chance to win a door prize!!
