Get ready for a paws-itively exciting day at the first annual 5K for K9s, hosted by the Humane Society of Macomb on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025! Taking place at the scenic Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township, this event invites both human and canine participants to join in the fun while supporting a great cause. The race kicks off at 9 AM, with check-in starting at 7:30 AM at the Activity Center. Runners will traverse a beautiful 5K route along paved roads and bike paths, offering stunning views as you and your furry friends make your way to the finish line. Every participant, including dogs, will receive a participation medal, with additional awards for the top two finishers in each age group and overall winners. All participants (including dogs) will receive a participation medal. Additional awards will be handed out to for those placing in the top 2 for each age group as well as overall winners.
