Based on a cartoon by Idaho's own Steve Moore, you begin and end at the same time - the start and finish line are one in the same. This event will feature all of the trappings of a marathon, only without the running. You will receive a bib number, have water cups handed to you as you cross the finish line, and be treated with fresh fruit and massages when you finish - just like the big marathons. After the race is over (which is right away), you will be entertained by professional cartoonists, music, food trucks and refreshments...and even award presentations (you will be getting a first place ribbon so make sure you get your picture on the winner's stand!). This is a family friendly event, and all proceeds go to veterans being supported by the Wyakin Foundation (www.wyakin.org [https://www.wyakin.org]).
