Join us for the inaugural IRC Fight Like a Kid Walk/Run Relay on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at beautiful Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe, Ross! This exciting event aims to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month while supporting the incredible work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Participants can choose to walk or run laps in a fun relay format with teams of four or as individual competitors.
Starting at 5:00 PM and wrapping up at 6:30 PM, this uplifting event will feature awards for the Top Team, Top Female Team, Top Mixed Team, Top Individual Male Runner, and Top Individual Female Runner and Walker. Registration is just $40 for a relay team and $25 for an individual participant. Plus, there’s an option to donate during your registration to further support the fight against childhood cancer. Let’s come together to make a difference for the kids and families who rely on St. Jude, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment. This is the inagural IRC St. Jude Walk Run Relay or individual race to bring awareness to Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!
The race will be walking or running loops around Yoctangee Park.
The laps can be done as a relay team or as individuals.
$40 per 4 person relay team
$25 per individual
Click on register and it will ask if you want to form or join a team. The first person to form a team will pay the $40 fee, when you click join, it will not charge you.
Laps will begin at 5 o'clock pm and end at 6:30 pm with awards to follow.
Awards will be given to the

Race organizers are raising money for St Jude Children's Research Hospital. As St Jude Heroes, local runners are running the New York Marathon in November and have committed fundraise for St. Jude. No family ever receives a bill for treatment at St Jude. In addition to treatment, St Jude provides a place to stay, meals and helps pay travel expenses for families so all they have to worry about is the care of their child.
Please feel free to add a donation to your registration to help us reach our goal for the Kids fighting childhood cancer at St Jude!!
