Organiser's Description
Join the J. R. Tucker High School Marine Corps JROTC cadets for our holiday walk/run! The course is beautiful, with views of the river, Belle Isle, and Brown's Island. Race day is December 7, 2024, with check-in from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. and an opening ceremony at 9:15 a.m. Upon conclusion of the ceremony, the 5K will start. Check in is at the Virginia War Memorial, and then make your way to the start on Brown's Island Way.
The race will benefit the J. R. Tucker MCJROTC Program. Money raised will pay for field trips, team competitions, meals, charter buses, hotels, school and special events supplies, exercise equipment, uniforms, and scholarships.
