Get ready for a spooktacular day of fun and fitness at the 21st annual Jack O Lantern Jog & Skeleton Stroll on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania! This exciting event features a 5km run starting at 9:00 AM, followed by the delightful one-mile Skeleton Stroll at 9:05 AM, both commencing from Canon-McMillan High School. Join fellow participants in costumes to celebrate Halloween spirit while supporting the Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan. The race will run in reverse this year, adding a unique twist to the experience!
Participants who register by October 12 will receive a commemorative shirt, so be sure to mark your size! Plus, there will be a huge raffle with amazing prizes, including a chance at grand prizes for all registered participants. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in multiple age categories, and team awards will recognize the fastest groups. Organiser's Description
The 21st Jack-O-Lantern Jog will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, rain or shine (no refunds will be given). The 5km run and one mile stroll will both start from the Canon-McMillan High School. The race will be run in reverse as it was in 2024 for our 20th year. This race is a fundraiser to benefit the Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan. Enter our event and bring your friends and families.
All participants registered prior to the end of the day on October 12th, are guaranteed a shirt. Please be sure to mark your shirt size when registering. Participants registering on or after October 13th will not be guaranteed a shirt and/or shirt size.
Huge Raffle! Tons of raffle prizes will be offered in a Chinese Auction type raffle. There will also be a 50/50 on the day of the race. Cash payments only. All registered participants will have a chance at our Grand Prize raffles too.
Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes! Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 costumed individuals and/or groups.

The 5km run will begin at 9:00 am and the Skeleton Stroll will begin at 9:05.
Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age categories. Male and female:
11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
Teams of 5 or more individuals are invited to compete in the 5K race. The 5 fastest finishing team members will be scored for team awards. First, second and third place overall team awards will be given.
As per our insurance, if you are participating with a stroller and/or carrier, the parent and/or legal guardian MUST sign a waiver for the child/children in that stroller and/or carrier. After waiver is signed and submitted, you must visibly place tag(s) given to you on the stroller and/or carrier. Please sign the waiver the day of the race. Failure to comply may result in disqualification of that parent and/or legal guardian that is a registered participant in the race.
