Can I participate without registering? All participants need to register before the event begins. How much does the event cost? The 5k and the activities at Whole Foods Market Brooklyn (at the finish line) are free! How long is the run/walk? The run is a 5k, so the route will be 3.1 miles. What if there is inclement weather? This event is rain or shine! In case of unsafe weather conditions, event organizers will be in touch about potential start delays. Can I still participate if I am under 18 years old? Yes! This is a run/walk for all ages. By submitting this entry, you acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years of age) to having read and agreed to the release and waiver. Will there be people on the route to guide me? Yes, we have many volunteers from various NYC running clubs who will be pacers and want to see you have the best 5k. Please listen and watch for directions from these wonderful volunteers. What if I need medical attention? If something happens on the course, please find a volunteer and ask for help. Will parking be available? There is no designated parking for this event, but the starting line is near the MTA LIRR Atlantic Terminal, MTA Bergen Street station, IND Culver Line and several MTA bus stops.
