John Shrum Chris Greene Lake Cable Swim

The 2024 John Shrum Chris Greene Lake Cable Swim is held in pristine Chris Greene Lake north of Charlottesville. We offer a one or two mile cable swim – do both if you like. The one mile is first, two clockwise laps on our certified 1/4 mile course. The two mile follows, four counter clockwise laps along this exactly 440 yard course down the center of the lake with a swimming pool lap lane the whole way. Each swimmer can see his or her precise pace at this distance. Good to know for sure.
