This vibrant event kicks off at 8:30 AM from the Palmyra Macedon High School bus loop, where participants can enjoy convenient parking. Whether you choose to run in person or participate virtually to support the talented Palmyra-Macedon Select Choir, this race promises a fantastic atmosphere filled with energy and community spirit.
The course is designed for a smooth run, taking you through the scenic streets of Palmyra, with plenty of cheer from choir students along the way. Don’t forget to wear your best pirate costume for a chance to add to the festive vibe! Awards will be given to top finishers in various age categories, making this an exciting competition for all. After the race, enjoy refreshments and celebrate your achievement during the awards presentation. Be part of this fun event that not only promotes fitness but also supports a great cause!

JOLLY ROGER 5K
RUN WITH US IN PERSON FOR AWARDS, OR VIRTUALLY TO SUPPORT THE CHOIR.
WHEN: Saturday, August 9th
TIME: 8:30am Start Time
WHERE: Starting at Palmyra Macedon High School bus loop (Parking available in the main parking lot at the High School) then continuing right out of the bus loop with a quick left onto Foster street. At the four way stop runners will make a right onto Stafford Rd. They will continue on Stafford Rd until they they reach Temple Rd. Runners will turn left onto Temple Rd and follow that to the turn around. This course has been mapped out this year to reflect the correct distance.
WHY: The Jolly Roger 5K is one of the key fundraisers for the Palmyra-Macedon Select Choir. Proceeds support the domestic and international travel of the ensemble. This is a fun race with a great vibe. Feel free to wear your pirate costumes to run in. The choir students will be on the course to cheer you on throughout the race!
