This exciting event, hosted by the Jordan Valley Lions Community Club, invites participants of all ages to take on the challenge of a scenic loop around Pharmacy Hill. With a main course distance of 3 miles, runners and walkers alike will experience the thrill of "The Climb," reaching an elevation of 4,744 feet over a total of 5.13 miles for those who dare to go the extra distance.
Starting and finishing at the local High School, this race promises to be a fantastic opportunity for health and wellness, encouraging both seasoned athletes and newcomers to join in the fun. Refreshments will be available after the race to help participants recharge. Don’t forget to bring your own water and carry out any trash to keep our community clean. As May weather can be unpredictable, be sure to dress appropriately for potential rain. Join us for a day of fitness, camaraderie, and support for a great cause, with all proceeds going towards building a larger space for local gatherings and celebrations!

Organiser's Description
The JORDAN VALLEY LIONS COMMUNITY CLUB IS HOSTING THE BIG LOOP RACE WALK OR RUN to promote health and wellness to the aging community and those who are up for a little challenge. The course is set for a big loop around Pharmacy Hill. The race will give all ages a challenge to do-The Climb- to the top of the hill for an increase in elevation to 4,744" and an extra 2 miles for a TOTAL OF 5.13 MILES. The MAIN COURSE IS ONLY 3 MILES AROUND THE HILL with an intermediate climb that gradually increases and gradually decreases. Everyone will start at the local High School and finish at the same location. Refreshments will be provided following the race. All racers are expected to carry their own water as needed and carry out all their trash. The weather in May could be wet and rainy, so please watch the local weather app to dress appropriately. All proceeds or donations will go to the Jordan Valley Lions Community Club to help build a bigger building for local gatherings and celebrations.
