Run before the bRUNch at the annual Kenmore 5k Run to support our school community!
The 2025 Kenmore 5k event will be held on Saturday, May 10th and will kick off at 9:00 am.
Celebrate and honor Mother's Day weekend by running (before your Mother's Day brunch the next day) the USATF certified 5K course in Bluemont Park that traverses the Four Mile Run and Washington and Old Dominion trails. This fast, mostly flat route will give you a great workout in one of Arlington's most beautiful parks.
This race is open to the public. You do not need to have or be a student at Kenmore to participate. We encourage local runners, Arlington residents, and Northern Virginia running groups to participate in support of the students at Kenmore.
Free parking is available at Kenmore Middle School (200 S. Carlin Springs Road).
All participants registered by April 18, 2025 will receive a race T-shirt.

The course is located at 5727 N. Carlin Springs Road but there will be no parking available. Participants can park at Kenmore Middle School (200 S. Carlin Springs Road); if necessary, pickup their T-shirt and bib; and then walk north along S. Carlin Springs Road (going under Rt. 50) to the entrance of Bluemont Park on the left to enter the Starting Line located on path from Carlin Springs parking (about 30 feet southeast of Four Mile Run Trail). In addition to packet pickup on May 8 and May 9, participants can pickup packet starting at 8:00 a.m. on day of race. The race will begin at 9:00 a.m.
