This year marks the 13th annual event, taking place at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School (KML) on a scenic cross country course. Participants can look forward to a new flatter two-loop 5k course that winds through the athletic fields and serene outdoor classroom, perfect for runners of all abilities. For those who prefer a leisurely stroll, there’s a 2-mile walk on the newly designed 3200 m grade school course, guided by a dedicated ambassador to ensure everyone stays on track.
This community event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages, including KML parents, students, and local high school and grade school cross country runners. ONLINE REGISTRATIONS NOW CLOSED. IN-PERSON REGISTRATION AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY 4-8 PM AND SATURDAY STARTING AROUND 8 AM IN THE KML CAFETERIA. PARK IN THE BACK LOT AND ENTER THROUGH THE WEST ENTRANCE.
The Kettle Klomp is back for its 13th year!
The race and walk takes place at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School (KML) on the cross country course. The new flatter two-loop 5k course winds around our athletic fields and along KMLs beautiful outdoor environmental classroom. This will be the same course used for high school cross country meets. A map of the courses can be found at kmlhs.org/klomp [http://kmlhs.org/klomp].
The 2 mile walk will be on our new 3200 m grade school course which uses one loop of the high school course. The walking course will be clearly marked and we will have a dedicated ambassador to lead the walkers so there is no confusion on the course.
Area runners and walkers of all ages, KML parents, and students, as well as area high school and grade school cross country runners are invited to participate. We also encourage all KML alumni, past Klomp runners, and KML CC alumni to join us for the festivities!
Proceeds go towards supporting the KML Cross Country team.

In-person registration is available during packet pick-up on Friday 8/14/26 4-8 pm and race-day starting at 8:00 AM (or earlier if we are ready).

CLOSEDThe Klip Klop run for kids will be held soon after the 5k run has completed. The quarter mile race will have the kids run a loop around our soccer fields and allow the kids to experience a finish across the finish mats.
