This exciting sprint triathlon invites participants to challenge themselves with a thrilling 5K run/walk through the scenic Hon-E-Kor Golf & Country Club, a refreshing 2-mile kayak paddle on the beautiful Milwaukee River, and an invigorating 13-mile bike ride through the stunning hills of the Kettle Moraine. For those who prefer a shorter biking option, an 8-mile route will be available.
Whether you're an individual looking to tackle all three segments or a relay team of 2-3 members ready to split the events, the Kewaskum TRiE-athlon is designed for everyone aged 12 and up. Additionally, young adventurers aged 8 and older can participate in a fun 1-mile run/walk starting at 8:00 AM. With a vibrant atmosphere and the goal of promoting fun and fitness, this event promises to be a memorable experience for all. The 2nd Annual _KEWASKUM TRIE-ATHLON_ will take place on the morning of September 13, 2026.
This 'sprint' triathlon takes place in Kewaskum's River Hill Park thanks to the partnership of Kewaskum Friends of Parks and TRiE Fitness. Race participants will complete a 5K run/walk through Hon-E-Kor Golf & Country Club, a 2-mile kayak paddle on the Milwaukee River, and a 13 mile bike ride through the hills of the Kettle Moraine. For those not interested in biking the full 13 mile route, an earlier turn-around spot will be offered, making the total route an 8-mile bike ride.
Sign up is open to individuals wishing to complete all 3 portions of the triathlon OR open to relay teams of 2-3 individuals wishing to split the events. The adult event is open to those 12+ years of age. There is also a youth 1 mile run/walk option offered 8:00am and is open to children 8+ years of age.
The trails, roads, and waterways that complete this course are all within scenic Kewaskum and the beautiful surrounding Kettle Moraine. We hope you can join us for this event, where the goal for everyone is to have fun!

Signing up as a relay team means that you will have 2-3 people that are working together to split up and complete the 3 portions of the triathlon (run/walk, kayak, bike). Example: Mary, Steve, and Bob sign up as a Relay Team. Mary completes the 5K, Steve completes the kayak paddle, and Bob completes the bike ride. Relay sign up open to those 12+ of age. -
