Get ready for an exciting day of outdoor adventure at the 3rd Annual Kids Trail Trek on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in beautiful Billings, Yellowstone! This fun-filled event invites children ages 5-10 to participate in either a 1-mile or a brand-new 2-mile trail run at Phipps Park. The mostly flat course ensures that young racers can enjoy the thrill of the run while receiving plenty of support from enthusiastic volunteers along the way. Parents are welcome to join their little ones on the run, making it a fantastic family activity!
The race kicks off at 9:30 AM, and all participants will receive finisher medals, with special awards for the top three male and female racers in each age group. With water and aid stations available, it's a perfect opportunity for kids to stay hydrated while enjoying the great outdoors. Plus, don't forget to grab your race packet the day before, where you’ll receive an official race shirt, race bib, and other exciting goodies. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and friendly competition at the Kids Trail Trek in Billings!

In conjunction with the QUITCHERBITCHEN TRAIL RUN [https://runsignup.com/Race/MT/Billings/QuiturbitchinTrailRace], we're super stoked to bring you the 3rd Annual Kids Trail Trek (we can't let the adults have ALL the fun!).
Kids ages 5-10 years old are invited to participate in this 1-mile or NEW 2-mile trail run at Phipps Park in West Billings. The course is mostly flat and will consist of a one-mile & two-mile loop. And don't worry, our courses are well marked and we have the best volunteers keeping our racers on the right path! Parents may run alongside their child in the KTT if they choose. Finisher medals will be awarded to participants who have completed the course. Age group awards will also be given to the top 3 male and female racers.
RACE DAY: Saturday, Sept 6th
RACE START TIME: 9:30am
There will be water/aid stations along the course - however this is a no-paper cup event in order to help protect the environment. Please bring your own hydration pack or water bottle. Refreshments will be provided after the race.
