Memorial Day Weekend Saturday May 23, 2025. Race Start Time 8:45 A.M. The Kiwanis Club is pleased to host the 31st running of the Chester 5k race. This is a very competitive 3.1 mile race at the start of the summer running season. At the conclusion of the race we are offering the participants refreshments, a full hot breakfast, ice cream, and free raffle drawings. On race day registered runners and walkers will pick up their bib and Tee shirt in the Chester Community Park between 7:30 and 8:30. Race starts just outside the park on Walnut Street at 8:45. T-Shirts are guaranteed to those who sign up by May 2nd.
