This vibrant program kicks off on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, and runs until December 10, 2024, meeting once a week at the beautiful Apex Nature Park in Holly Springs, Wake. Designed specifically for kids aged 10-15 who already have some running experience, this advanced class prepares participants to enhance their running speed and overall conditioning.
Over the course of 8 weeks, young runners will enjoy a fun, supportive environment while participating in coached workouts and benefiting from a personalized training plan. The class is capped at 30 registrants to ensure individual attention. For just $75, participants will receive expert coaching from Coach Mary Petersen, educational insights from The Running PTs, a training shirt, and even a 20% discount at Pace Yourself Run Company! LATE FALL 2024 ADVANCED YOUTH RUN TRAINING IN APEX is brought to you by TRIANGLE RUN SMART TRAINING, PRESENTED BY PACE YOURSELF RUN COMPANY AND THE RUNNING PTS.
Class is 8 WEEKS LONG, meeting once per week, and is geared toward KIDS AGED 10-15 YEARS OLD WHO HAVE PRIOR RUNNING EXPERIENCE AND ARE CAPABLE OF RUNNING 2 MILES NON-STOP (AT ANY PACE). PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ADVANCED CLASS AND NOT APPROPRIATE FOR BEGINNER RUNNERS. The goal of the class is to have fun, get healthy, and work on running speed and overall conditioning. Class will be capped at 30 registrants.
COST OF THE CLASS IS $75. No refund and no class credit if your child drops the class after registering.
COST INCLUDES: 8 weeks of 1 coached workout per week, a season training plan with suggested workouts on non-class days as well, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), educational information coordinated by The Running PTs, and a training shirt.
