The day kicks off with packet pickup at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K race at 9:30 AM and a delightful Kids Fun Run at 10:30 AM. Every participant will receive a finishers medal, and top male and female runners will be recognized with special awards. Bring your family and friends to celebrate Lillee’s spirit while supporting a great cause! Don’t forget to grab a commemorative event T-shirt during online registration. Please join us for our first 5K and Kids Fun Run to raise money to create a memorial in memory of Lillee Rae Bronson (Lillee Bean), a mighty warrior who fought a hard 19 months of osteosarcoma (bone) cancer. Lillee, born and raised in Campbell, NY; was a former 1st grader of the Campbell-Savona Central School District. She could usually be seen with a smile, beaming ear to ear, despite the diagnosis thrown at her. For the six years Lillee walked this earth, she made a splash in many peoples lives. Launching Lillees Pad, a 600 square foot splash pad installed in the Savona Village Park and built by Coopers SkillsUSA students, will benefit all those who visit. Funds raised will not only continue Lillees Splash but fund SkillsUSA student activities at Coopers. Bring the entire family to run or walk with us.
Packet pickup begins at 830am, the 5K begins at 930am, and the kids fun run begins at 1030am.
Participants of the 5k and kids fun run will receive a finishers medal. The winning male and female will receive an additional award. During online registration, please consider purchasing an event T-shirt (dri fit) in kids and adult sizes!
