Join us for the inaugural Launch Lillees Pad 5K and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the charming town of Savona, Steuben! This exciting event aims to raise funds for a memorial dedicated to Lillee Rae Bronson, affectionately known as Lillee Bean, who bravely battled osteosarcoma for 19 months. Lillee’s spirit continues to inspire, and this run is a beautiful way to honor her legacy and support the community.
The day kicks off with early bib pickup on Friday, May 9th, and race day festivities starting at 8:30 AM on Saturday. The 5K run/walk will commence at 9:30 AM, followed by a delightful Kids Fun Run at around 10:30 AM. Participants can look forward to special medals for the first 150 finishers of the 5K and the first 50 kids to cross the finish line. Plus, the first place male and female runners will receive additional awards! Don’t forget to grab your event T-shirt during registration to commemorate this heartfelt occasion. Bring the whole family and let’s make a splash for a wonderful cause!

Please join us for our first 5K and Kids Fun Run to raise money to create a memorial in memory of Lillee Rae Bronson (Lillee Bean), a mighty warrior who fought a hard 19 months of osteosarcoma (bone) cancer. Lillee, born and raised in Campbell, NY; was a former 1st grader of the Campbell-Savona Central School District. She could usually be seen with a smile, beaming ear to ear, despite the diagnosis thrown at her. For the six years Lillee walked this earth, she made a splash in many peoples lives. Launching Lillees Pad, a 1200 square foot splash pad installed in the Savona Village Park and built by GST Coopers SkillsUSA students, will benefit all those who visit. Funds raised will not only continue Lillees Splash but fund SkillsUSA student activities at Coopers. Bring the entire family to run or walk with us.
