The Launch Lillees Pad initiative will provide a wonderful splash pad for the community, benefiting all visitors to the Savona Village Park. The day kicks off with packet pickup at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K race at 9:30 AM and a special fun run for kids at 10:30 AM. Please join us for our first 5K and Kids Fun Run to raise money to create a memorial in memory of Lillee Rae Bronson (Lillee Bean), a mighty warrior who fought a hard 19 months of osteosarcoma (bone) cancer. Lillee, born and raised in Campbell, NY; was a former 1st grader of the Campbell-Savona Central School District. She could usually be seen with a smile, beaming ear to ear, despite the diagnosis thrown at her. For the six years Lillee walked this earth, she made a splash in many peoples lives. Launching Lillees Pad, a 600 square foot splash pad installed in the Savona Village Park and built by Coopers SkillsUSA students, will benefit all those who visit. Funds raised will not only continue Lillees Splash but fund SkillsUSA student activities at Coopers. Bring the entire family to run or walk with us.
