Young athletes aged 7-10 can participate in the short course, which includes a 100-meter swim followed by a 1k run, while those aged 11-14 can take on the challenge of the long course with a 200-meter swim and a 2k run. For the littlest participants, the Keiki Dash offers a fun 1k run for kids aged 6 and under. With all event revenue supporting youth development in sports across Hawaii Island, the LavaKids Aquathon & Keiki Dash is not just a race—it's a celebration of community, health, and the joy of competition! Organiser's Description
Short course for ages 7-10: 100 meter swim, 1k run.
Long course for ages 11 - 14: 200 meter swim, 2k run.
Keiki Dash is a 1k run for kids 6 and under.
LAVAKIDS IS AN 501C3 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION. ALL EVENT REVENUE GOES TO SUPPORT YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IN SPORT IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES OF HAWAII ISLAND.
