Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, a casual walker, or a family with strollers, everyone is encouraged to participate in this fun-filled day.
As a token of appreciation, all participants will receive a complimentary Freedom Run t-shirt (while supplies last), and there will be finishers' medals available for just $5. Competitors will have the chance to win plaques for first place and medals for second and third places across 16 age divisions in the 5K and 8 divisions in the 10K. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet on July 3 or the morning of the event at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center. Join us for a memorable day of fitness, family, and festive spirit at the Lenexa Freedom Run!

Experience this family-friendly event, where OVER 1,600 PARTICIPANTS come together for an unforgettable 4th of July experience. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or pushing a stroller, ALL ARE WELCOME to take part in this race celebrating the 4th of July!
You will receive a COMPLEMENTARY FREEDOM RUN T-SHIRT, while supplies last. We will honor size requests to the extent possible. FINISHER MEDALS are optional and cost $5. PLAQUES WILL BE GIVEN OUT to first place finishers and medals given to 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age division. There are 16 different age divisions for both male and female in the 5K race. There are 8 different age divisions for both male and female in the 10K race. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
