Event summary
All runners will receive a complimentary Freedom Run t-shirt (while supplies last), and awards will be presented to the top finishers in each age division, with plaques for first place and medals for second and third. With 16 age divisions for the 5K and 8 for the 10K, thereβs plenty of opportunity to shine! Donβt miss out on this fantastic community event. Make sure to pick up your race packet on July 3rd or early on race day to ensure you're ready to celebrate freedom in style!
Organiser's Description
Experience this family-friendly event, where OVER 1,500 PARTICIPANTS come together for an unforgettable 4th of July experience. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or pushing a stroller, ALL ARE WELCOME to take part in this race celebrating the 4th of July!
You will receive a COMPLEMENTARY FREEDOM RUN T-SHIRT, while supplies last. We will honor size requests to the extent possible. PLAQUES WILL BE GIVEN OUT to first place finishers and medals given to 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age division. There are 16 different age divisions for both male and female in the 5K race. There are 8 different age divisions for both male and female in the 10K race. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

There are two options for picking up your race packet:
July 3, 2025: from 3 p.m. 7 p.m. at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, 9301 Pflumm Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215
July 4, 2025: from 5:30 a.m. 6:45 a.m. at the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, 9301 Pflumm Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215
