Get ready to kick off your St. Patrick's Day celebrations at the exciting Leprechaun Run on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, in the vibrant town of Cozad, Dawson! This festive event invites participants to join in a spirited 3.1-mile race starting and finishing at the lively Meridian Tap House. The fun begins at 2 PM, where lasses will dash off first, followed by the lads, all in a friendly competition to see which team can cross the finish line first for a chance to earn a complimentary beer!
This event is perfect for participants of all ages, with categories for both over 21 and under 21 competitors. Not only will you have the chance to win prizes for the fastest lad and lass, but there are also awards for the best-dressed participants and the most spirited green outfits! So gather your friends and family, put on your best St. Paddy’s Day attire, and join in the fun and camaraderie of the Leprechaun Run—where it's not about being the fastest, but about embracing the joy of being part of the right team!

Organiser's Description
In this version of a Leprechaun Run participants will start and finish at Meridian Tap House. The race is approximately 3.1 miles. Lasses will take off with a 30 second lead time followed by the lads. Whichever team crosses the finish line first a lad or a lass earns their respective team a free beer!!
The winning team will be based off of ages over 21; although all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in the shenanigans. Remember - YOU don't have to be the fastest... you just have to be on the right team!
Race starts at 2pm and lasts all afternoon! Prizes will be awarded for fastest lad and lass (besides the beer they win for the team) in two categories: over 21 and under 21. There will also be awards for best dressed and most green so let's see that St Paddies day spirit shine!
