Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join the fun at the LFG Challenge, taking place from November 1st to December 31st, 2024, in Wesley Chapel, Pasco! This exciting virtual challenge is perfect for runners and walkers of all ages, allowing you to participate from anywhere at any time. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to complete 100 purposeful miles over the two-month period. Not only will you stay motivated through the end-of-year holidays, but you'll also earn a custom-designed medal and five character-themed enamel pins, marking your progress along the way.
As you track your miles via the Challenge runsignup page, you'll see your achievements shine on the leaderboard while connecting with fellow participants. Organiser's Description
Relevant Running is always trying to help keep you motivated and inspired through the end of year holidays. Join us throughout November and December 2024 for the LFG Challenge. A virtual challenge for runners and walkers of all ages anywhere at any time. Your goal, should you choose to accept it, is to walk and/or run 100 purposeful/training miles from November 1st through December 31st 2024. Read on for details!
LFG Challenge participants will receive:
The custom designed LFG Challenge medal (pics below) and 5 character themed enamel pins. Each enamel pin represents 20 miles on your way to the 100 mile goal. Add the the pins to your medal's lanyard as milestones are achieved. Pictures of the various styles of pins are pictured below. You will receive a random assortment of 5 pins with your medal.
Tracking
Tracking is accomplished by uploading to the Challenge runsignup page (from popular apps or manually). You will be able to see your progress tracking bar as well as milestones achieved along the way. You will also be able to follow others that are currently active in the Challenge. Info regarding your tracking link will be emailed to you at approximately midnight the day the challenge starts.
Challenge duration:
You can start/join the Challenge any time after 12:01am Eastern time November 1st 2024. Complete your purposeful/training miles at your own pace throughout the 2 months. The Challenge ends at 11:59pm Eastern time December 31st 2024.
Leaderboard Status
You will be able to log your distance, time for each run or walk. This will track who is in the lead.
Course Information: It's virtual, so wherever you choose to run or walk!
