Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 2nd Annual LHS Safe Grad Party 5k Fun Run Fundraiser on Sunday, March 30, 2025, in Ledyard, Southeastern Connecticut! This exciting event supports a wonderful cause, as it helps fund an overnight drug- and alcohol-free graduation party for the current graduating class at Ledyard High School. Join fellow community members and enjoy a timed 5k race that qualifies under the 169 towns rule for the 169 Towns Society participants. Plus, if you register by March 15, you’ll be guaranteed a stylish participation T-shirt—don’t miss out! After the race, stick around for delicious food trucks at the finish line, making it a perfect day of fun, fitness, and community spirit. Come out and support our graduates while enjoying a healthy and uplifting day!
Organiser's Description
Join us in the 2nd Annual LHS Safe Grad Party 5k Fun Run Fundraiser! We are a 501c3 organization that plans, fundraises for, and hosts the overnight drug- and alcohol-free graduation party for the current graduating class at Ledyard High School. Board members are all parents and/or guardians of students in the current graduating class.
The race will be timed, the results will be published, and the race does qualify under the 169 towns rule for those participants who are part of the 169 Towns Society.
5 K participants who sign up by SAT, MAR 15 are GUARANTEED a participation T-shirt! Participants who sign up after the 15th will receive a shirt as long as supplies last.
We are working on having food trucks available to purchase lunch from at the finish line as well.
