Get ready to light up the night at the Light the Way 5K event organized by Natchitoches! Taking place on Sunday, November 24th, 2024 in Natchitoches, this unique night-time race will showcase the famous Natchitoches Christmas lights along the route. Starting in front of the riverbank stage, participants will run past Santa Clause Lane, Amulet, 2nd Street, and Lafayette before looping back to the riverbank. The Fun Run option involves one lap, while completing three laps will cover the full 5k distance. With registration and packet pick up starting at 3:30 PM, the event will feature a warm-up session, the Fun Run beginning at 5:30 PM, and the 5k starting at 5:45 PM. Don't miss the cool down and awards ceremony at 6:15 PM to celebrate your achievement!
Organiser's Description
This night-time race will be entirely lit with the famous Natchitoches Christmas lights! Route starts in front of the riverbank stage, runs south past Santa Clause Lane, turns west on Amulet, north on 2nd Street, and east on Lafayette which will run back down to the riverbank. 1 of these laps will be the Fun Run. 3 laps will complete the 5k.
