With age groups ranging from 0-9 to 70+, there’s a place for everyone to shine. Don't miss your chance to snag an event t-shirt by registering before August 2nd, and be sure to pick up your bib and shirt at the Highland Recreation Center or at the Hickory City Park Greenway Trailhead on race day. Lets get ready to Boogie! The 3rd annual Lightning Bug Boogie 5K Trail Run will take place on (re-scheduled to) FRIDAY, AUGUST 23RD STARTING AT 9:00 PM on the Lake Hickory Trails. This course will consist of off road trails that include hills, descents, tight turns, roots, rocks and other trail type features. All participants will be required to have a light in the form of a headlamp or flashlight.
Age groups are as follows:
0-9
10-14
15-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+
Top 3 overall Male and Female
(Top 3 M/F will not medal in age groups)
T-Shirts are only guaranteed to those that register on or before Friday, August 2nd. Some shirts may still be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Bib & Shirt pick up will take place on:
