This year, we're raising funds for the Crandon Area Rescue, a dedicated non-profit squad serving a vast area of approximately 435 square miles, including the City of Crandon and surrounding townships.
Participants can enjoy a fun-filled day with a suggested donation of $35 per racer, though contributions of any amount are warmly welcomed. Over the past three years, this event has raised over $10,500 to directly support Crandon Area Rescue, along with additional community donations exceeding $5,000! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely walk, your participation makes a significant impact in keeping our community safe. Plus, all participants will receive a special race swag bag! Come be a part of this rewarding experience and help us make a difference in the community!

The Lake Lucerne Advancement Association Community Support Committees Fourth Annual 5K-ish Run/Walk will be on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
This year's charity, Crandon Area Rescue, is a non-profit squad that serves approximately 435 square miles, including Argonne, Crandon, Hiles, Lincoln, Nashville townships, and the City of Crandon. With four ambulances and around 20 active responders, they provide essential emergency care when needed.
There is no registration fee, however a suggested donation amount of $35 requested per racer. If you would prefer to donate a different amount, you are welcome to do so.
This Years Race Swag is a Bag!

Over the past three years, this event has raised over $10,500 in direct donations from the race! In addition, we know that community and individual contributions inspired by this event have added more than $5,000 in extra donations to Crandon Area Rescue. Thats a huge impact!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us this yearand to those who couldnt attend but still donated to this great cause.
This years event featured over 90 racers and 18 volunteers who helped with planning and operations. We also had eight generous sponsors who contributed funds, products, and services. Their support makes this event possible every year. Our sponsors included:

Registration and pick-up start at 7:45 AM at the LLAA Club House (4031 County W, Crandon WI), closing at 8:40 AM. The race starts at the north end of Lake Lucerne and finishes at the Boat Landing. Transportation to the starting point will leave at 8:40 AM, with return rides available post-race.
