Event summary
Runners can look forward to a flat and fast course that meanders through tree-lined trails, making it an ideal opportunity for personal bests or Boston Qualifying attempts. With all courses being USATF certified, participants will enjoy a well-organized race experience. Each finisher will receive a stylish race shirt and medal, with additional swag for marathon runners. Not only is this event a chance to challenge yourself, but it also supports the Merri-Mac Park's improvements, helping to enhance the community. Organiser's Description
FORMAT: The full and half marathon race events will start promptly at 7 am and the 5K at 7:15 am. The course will remain open for 5 hours after the last competitor starts.
COURSE: The start and finish will be located at Merri-Mac Park. All course maps can be viewed here [https://runsignup.com/Race/LondonOhioMarathon/Page/CourseMaps]. The flat, tree-lined scenic rails will take you toward Darby Creek Metro Park. At Darby Creek (for the full marathon), youll turn around and head back to London! Did we mention this race is flat? _IT IS CRAZY FLAT!_
Both the marathon and half-marathon courses are USATF certified! This course is PERFECT for that PR or BQ attempt!
PERKS: All half marathon runners will receive a high-quality soft vintage style race shirt with the London OH Marathon logo, a finisher medal, and special promotional offers from local businesses. All full marathon runners will receive a full-zip London OH Marathon lightweight hooded sweatshirt, a finisher medal, and swag from local businesses.
PACKET PICK UP AND EVENT EXPO:
2026 Packet Pickup details are TBD, we will finalize these details in the weeks prior to the event and be sure all registered participants are notified.
There will be race day packet pick up. At Merri Mac Park starting at 6:15 AM. Be sure to arrive early if you need to pick up your packet on race day!
ELITE ATHLETES: This course is going to be crazy fast, and were looking for people who can light it up. Please contact Race Director David Mars at [email protected] for details. Elite entries will include a complimentary entry to the race and VIP accommodations on race day.
