Loving You Well 5k is an event geared towards women and young girls to gather everyone together and be empowered in God's love! Whether you walk it or run it, this is something for all ages of ladies to do! No matter what your fitness level is! This event is about bringing women together, enjoying movement with one another and being encouraged with God's truth that he speaks over his daughters! After the 5k, there will be a ministry event, an opportunity to shop, and there will also be yummy treats to enjoy! 10% of what is raised will go towards Laura's Homes (Two group homes in Shelby that house foster children), another 10% will go to Cleveland County Rescue Mission, and the remainder of funds will go towards the Loving You Well Vision. Loving You Well is all about teaching women their identity in Christ so they can live empowered and confident lives! A huge part of this ministry is helping women who struggle with substance abuse or who have been in domestic violence situations find hope, healing, and freedom in Jesus.
