Shake a tail feather with your favorite holiday tradition: the HumanKind Lynchburg Turkey Trot, presented by Scott Insurance.
Lace up for the largest 5K in the area where every step is a part of something big! The Lynchburg Turkey Trot is a community fun run/walk with all proceeds of this fundraising race supporting the programs and services of HumanKind.

This race exists because when we come together, we create something powerfula celebration of community, generosity, and the unwavering support for neighbors in need. Everyone can join in, individually or with your favorite flock; in-person or virtually. You can run, walk, or TROT and make a difference in your community all year long.

The race was originally started in 1988 by Don Lucy who grew up at the Presbyterian Homes (now known as HumanKind) as a way to give back and help raise funds and awareness for individuals, children, and families across Virginia.
