Are you ready to race the Magic City? We are ready for you and invite you to join us at one of the premier half marathon events in the South. This 26.2 / 13.1 mile / 5K / 1 mile event is the second largest half marathon event in Alabama and the state's most iconic fall running event. Welcome to Birmingham and we can't wait to see you at Regions Field on November 19, 2023 for the 13th Annual Magic City Half Marathon & 5K.
Over the first twelve years our event weekend has been the fastest growing half marathon and 5K in the South! And with perfect running conditions and tons of excitement on and off the courses, we expect our biggest event ever in 2023! As and added bonus the 2023 event will offer a two person relay option and a fast, relatively flat 26.2 mile option for those looking to get a PR or BQ time!
Our events benefit the Ruben Studdard Foundation for the Advancement of Children in the Music Arts and Girls on the Run of Birmingham.

CLOSEDTwo Person Relay option of the half marathon. Each Runner will run 6.55 miles (or 1/2 the half marathon). Runner #2 meet Runner #1 at the hand off point which is just outside the 3rd Base Gates of Regions Field and a few hundred feet from start line.
