Get creative and showcase your unique style—wear your funniest socks, or even don your underwear and bra on the outside of your clothes! The day kicks off at 8:30 AM with check-in, followed by a refreshing yoga session at 8:45 AM, and the walk/run begins at 9:00 AM. Enjoy snacks along the route, and for the little ones, there will be a delightful storybook trail and free books to take home. Don't forget to bring along bottles of tick spray, sunblock, deodorant, and bars of soap to help fill summer requests! With raffles and prizes at 10:15 AM, this is an event you won't want to miss. Please join us in Lewiston for a two mile fundraising walk to support Maine Needs!
Maine Needs is a community fueled donation center based in Portland. We are calling on local runners and walkers to join us in supporting the critical need for basic material goods for individuals and families throughout Maine.
Race participants are encouraged to highlight basic needs in whatever creative way they want to! This can be wearing your underwear and bra on the outside of your clothes, wearing funny socks, or whatever you can think of!
There will also be snacks to satisfy for your hunger!
We will have a storybook trail for kids and free books to take home.
Please encourage those cheering you on to BRING BOTTLES OF TICK SPRAY, SUNBLOCK, DEODORANT AND BARS OF SOAP for us to fill Summer requests!
