This annual race, which takes place during the Maine Potato Blossom Festival, takes runners over a 5-mile course which goes down the streets, roads, and through the potato fields of Fort Fairfield! This race is a part of the 2026 Crown of Maine Race Series.

OPENS 31 MARThis race is a part of the 2026 Crown of Maine Race Series. Entrants who participate in this race are eligible to earn points for this Series. A 10-point scoring system is used in each race. 10 points are awarded to first place, 8 points for second, 7 points for third, and so on. Each runner will receive one bonus point for each race finished. Race Series Rules: Must complete in at least 3/5 of the series races (6 of the 10). Runners accumulate points by competing in races throughout the series. One point per race-participation. The overall winners, male and female, as well as the winners in each age division, will be those runners scoring the highest number of points in the 10 races with points scored in a minimum of six races required Awards will be given to the top 2 places in each age group. A runner's age group is determined by what his or her age is on the day of the first series race he or she runs. -
