Whether you're competing in the Men, Women, Youth (11-16), or Grom (10 & Under) classes, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and enjoy some friendly competition. With prizes for top finishers and a chance to track your progress throughout the series, it's an ideal way to challenge yourself and bond with fellow riders. Races kick off at 2 PM, so be sure to check in at the bottom of the Snowfield Chair by 1:45 PM. Remember, a valid day or season pass is required, but you'll receive a discount with proof of race registration. MARQUETTE MOUNTAIN RESORT GRAVITY SERIES FOR SUMMER 2024!
Six races, Six dates, Six chances to challenge friends or foes in this lift-accessed, gravity-fueled, unsanctioned downhill mountain bike series. Join us and other passionate local riders on Saturday afternoons twice a month this summer for camaraderie, racing, and a chance to show off what youve got! Then enjoy some delicious food and a refreshing beverage in the air conditioned Tbar while you reminisce on your heroics laps (or bobbles and saves).
The format will be 2 runs per race on a selected trail. The trails will change for each race and will be announced the week of the race. Well track your results through the season, and crown overall champions for each class at the final race. Up to 4 results will count, if you race more, well count your best 4. Classes are Men, Women, Youth (11-16) and Grom (10 & Under). Prizes for the top finisher in each class. Racers will need a valid day or season pass in addition to race entry (receive a 10% discount on your day pass with proof of race registration). Full face helmets are required.
