Join us on Saturday, September 5, 2026, for the vibrant Marshall Run in Newaygo, a spirited 5K Run/Walk dedicated to honoring Tpr. Kevin M. Marshall, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on July 7, 2003. This exciting event not only celebrates community and remembrance but also supports a noble cause, with all proceeds benefiting the Michigan Special Olympics through the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR).
Participants can look forward to receiving a commemorative t-shirt, and there are plenty of awards up for grabs! Recognitions will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as male and female masters, public safety participants, and the top three finishers in each age group. The course features a scenic out-and-back route that includes a "noticeable" hill, offering a fun challenge for runners and walkers alike. Organiser's Description
The Marshall Run is held in memory of Tpr. Kevin M. Marshall who died in the line of duty of July 7, 2003. This is a 5K Run/Walk, and all proceeds benefit the Michigan Special Olympics via the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR). All registrants receive a t-shirt. The top overall male and female, male and female masters, male and female public safety, and top three male and female in each age group will receive awards.
