This dynamic event kicks off bright and early at 7 a.m. with the Adult & Team Division, featuring a challenging 400-yard swim in the Y pool, followed by a scenic 15K bike ride on the picturesque Linn Creek Trail, and finishing with a refreshing 5K run along the same beautiful trail. Novice swimmers are encouraged to join in the fun, as kickboards and flippers are welcome!
Youth athletes aged 6-16 can also showcase their skills with a start time of 9:30 a.m. The youth division includes a 100-yard swim in the Y pool, a 4-mile bike ride on the safe, 10-foot-wide Linn Creek Trail, and a 1-mile run to wrap up the day’s events. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete or just starting out, the Marshalltown Y Triathlon promises a fantastic experience for all participants.
