Join us for the 20th Annual Max's Race for The Davies Project on Saturday, June 21, 2025, held on the picturesque campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Ingham. This exciting in-person event features a 5k run/walk, starting at 8 AM, followed by a fun-filled Kids Mile at 9:15 AM, and a Kids Sprint to keep the little ones engaged! Participants will not only enjoy a day of fitness and community but also honor the memory of Max, who sadly passed away at the age of 6 due to complications from meningitis.
In addition to helping a great cause, which supports free round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges, all participants will receive a stylish short sleeve t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Gather your family and friends, as special group pricing is available for those registering three or more participants at once. Organiser's Description
MAX'S RACE for THE DAVIES PROJECT 2025, our 20TH ANNUAL in-person 5k run/walk, will be held on the beautiful campus of MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY. Consider a scavenger hunt of Max's favorite things such as the moon, the color orange, or MSU's mascot Sparty to honor the legacy of Max who passed away at the age of 6 due to complications from meningitis.
Proceeds from the event will support free round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges.
All participants receive a short sleeve t-shirt and finisher's medal.

AWARDS: Overall awards to top male and female finisher. Awards to top 3 in each 5-year age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over. Virtual times will not be counted toward age group awards.
