Join us for the exhilarating Mayor's River Walk and Run 5K on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in beautiful Lansing, Ingham! This lively event kicks off at 9 AM at Potter Park, where participants will walk or run along the scenic river trail, ending at the historic Turner Dodge House. Whether you’re a competitive runner or a leisurely walker, there’s something for everyone! The competitive run has an early registration fee of just $20 until May 24th, which includes a stylish Mayor's River Walk T-shirt, a finisher medal, and matching socks, with exciting prizes for the top three finishers in each age category.
For walkers, registration is completely free and also includes a T-shirt and finisher medal. Along the trail, you can enjoy fun stations for kids and marvel at 20 new ArtPath installations, celebrating our 8th year of bringing art to the trail in collaboration with the Lansing Art Gallery. Make sure to pre-register as race day registration is not available for runners. Packet pickup will be on June 4th and 5th, and the race day excitement starts early at 8 AM. Walk/run the river trail together this year! Meet Mayor Andy Schor at Potter Park on June 7th at 9am and make your way to Turner Dodge House. There is transportation from Turner Dodge back to Potter Park. Every participant receives a t-shirt, medal and snacks at the end. There will also be fun stations along the way to break up the trail for the kids.
Also, the trail will lead you by 20 all new ArtPath installations for this year, as we kick off our 8th year of bringing art to the trail with the Lansing Art Gallery.
REGISTRATION FOR THE COMPETITIVE RUN is $20 until May 24th for runners and includes a Mayor's River Walk T-Shirt, finisher medal and Matching socks with prizes for the top three finishers in each age group. (5/25 to 6/3, $25, 6/4 to 6/6, $30) .
