Join us for the 60th McQuaid Invitational Open Race on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Rochester, Monroe! This exciting 3-mile open race welcomes runners of all abilities, as it is not affiliated with high schools or clubs. The event honors the legacy of Peter Glavin, the meet director and founder of the Upstate Cross Country Series.
The day kicks off with 23 thrilling high school and junior high races starting at 9 am, leading up to the main event. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this historic race! Bib pickup is available on Friday from noon to 6 pm, and you can also register on race day at the Registration Tent until 4:30 pm. With a pre-race online fee of just $15 and $20 cash on race day, it’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Plus, a portion of the proceeds supports the annual McQuaid 25 Hour Charity Relay event. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a fantastic day of racing and community spirit!

Welcome to the 60th McQuaid Invitational. This 3 mile open/unattached race, not high school/club affiliated, is in honor of Peter Glavin, who served as its meet director and founder of the Upstate Cross Country Series.
The Open race is preceded by the 23 Invitational High School/Jr.High races, starting at 9am. See the Finish area/.building for bib pickup on Friday from Noon until 6pm or the Registration Tent on race day by 4:30pm.
Pre-Race Online Fee: $15. Race Day: $20 cash only. Some of the proceeds will go toward the annual McQuaid 25 Hour Charity Relay event.
