Meals On Wheels Western Michigan March for Meals

 
Meals on Wheels Western Michigan's 2nd Annual March for Meals Community Walk & 5k is a family-friendly event for people of all ages and abilities to come together and support the health and independence of older adults in Western Michigan. We are excited to be adding a timed 5k to the mix this year and to be hosting the walk/run at beautiful Millennium Park. The walk is a 2-mile loop and the 5K run is on that same loop, just extending a bit farther into the park. Click here for a map of the walk route, and click here for a map of the 5k route. Dogs are welcome, so bring your furry friends! 
 
Packet pickup and festivities will begin at 9:00 am at Grant Pavilion, with a brief welcome at 10:00 am, and the walk and race taking off at 10:15 am. An awards ceremony will be immediately following the race. This event is rain, snow, or shine! So be sure to dress for the weather. 
 
Tickets for the walk are $10/person (with an option to add on a race shirt) and tickets for the 5k run are $30/person and include a race shirt (runners who register after March 6th are not guaranteed a race shirt). Kids ages 0-3 are free. There is also the option to add on a bandana for your furry friends (or yourself)! Ticket prices will jump up $5 on February 10, and another $5 the day of. 
 
We are also adding a virtual option this year. Join us from afar wherever you are! For $30 we will send you a race packet including a t-shirt. Map out your own 2-mile walk or 5k run and join in the fun by submitting photos and tagging us on social.  
 
We hope you also join us in donating or fundraising for Meals on Wheels Western Michigan. Every $5 can provide a tasty meal and friendly check-in for a homebound senior in West Michigan.
