This exciting event invites teams of 5-10 participants to join in a unique Holiday Scavenger Hunt that combines the thrill of adventure racing with the joy of the Christmas season. Check-in starts at 5:30 PM, and the fun kicks off promptly at 6:15 PM. Teams will have 75 minutes to complete various challenges and earn points by visiting designated locations throughout the area.
Whether you're a seasoned competitor or a first-time participant, the Merrier Games promises an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, teamwork, and holiday cheer. Don’t worry if you’re flying solo—there's a Free Agent team for those without a crew! Remember to bring a headlamp and reflective gear for safety, and you can score bonus points by donating a toy to The Pirate Toy Fund or dressing up in your favorite Christmas costume. Join us for a night of seasonal nonsense and friendly competition that you won’t want to miss!

Our special brand of seasonal nonsense returns with the Christmas-themed Merrier Games on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2024!
We are excited to be gaming back in Fairport at the Triphammer Bierwerks for our next running Holiday Scavenger Hunt and our friends from Brooks will be joining in the fun!
Game day check-in will open at 5:30 PM and the Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM. Team captains should have completed check-in by 6 PM.
TEAMS OF 5 -10 (THE MOST A TEAM CAN HAVE IS TEN PARTICIPANTS) will work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy-five minutes. Half scavenger hunt, half adventure race, extra nonsense, total fun!
The Team Captain will be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the Games.
Team Captains sign up and create their team name and then players can select the team to join when they sign up.
DON'T HAVE A TEAM? No problem, sign up on the Free Agent team.
GAME RULES:
* A choose your own adventure scavenger hunt, runners will earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges.
* You will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at Merrier Games check-in on game day.
* To claim your points for each location/challenge, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/groups/MedvedRunWalk] page. Please make sure you are a member of this group prior to game day!
* Posts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time. Any posts after this time will not count.
* All participants are required to follow traffic, pedestrian, and social distancing guidelines at all times.
* HEADLAMPS & REFLECTIVE GEAR ARE REQUIRED.
BONUS POINTS:
* Earn bonus points by bringing a new, unwrapped toy donation for The Pirate Toy Fund [https://www.piratetoyfund.org/].
* Earn bonus points by dressing up in a Christmas costume!
* Earn bonus points by wearing Brooks gear/shoes to the Games!
* Additional bonus point opportunities will be announced, so please follow the Facebook Event page!
