Join us for the annual Memorial Day Run & March on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at America the Beautiful Park in beautiful Colorado Springs, El Paso. This uplifting event is not only a celebration of community and camaraderie but also the largest food donation drive in Colorado aimed at supporting homeless veterans. Participants can choose from three exciting race distances: a 5K Run/Ruck, a 10K Run/Ruck, or a challenging 30K Ruck March, all while carrying 25 pounds of nonperishable food in their rucksacks or backpacks.
Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to contribute to a worthy cause, this event is perfect for everyone, including civilians, veterans, and uniformed military. After completing your race, you’ll have the opportunity to donate the food you've carried, directly helping those in need. Each registered participant will receive a race T-shirt, a finisher medal, and a timing bib, making this an unforgettable experience. The Memorial Day Run & March invites civilians, Veterans, and uniformed Military to challenge themselves in friendly competition while helping feed homeless Veterans. We have three category events to choose from 5K Run/Ruck, 10K Run/Ruck, 30K Ruck March, and a &k for Sartor.
Fill your rucksacks or backpacks with 25 pounds of nonperishable foods and set off on a 5, 10, or 30K route. When finished, empty your bags and help us raise food to feed Colorado's homeless Veterans. If you're at the in-person event, we will take the food from you at the end.
Proceeds from your registration (and donations!) go directly to helping Special Forces Foundation. We encourage you to share this page and get friends and family involved to support the cause! Thank you on behalf of SPECIAL FORCES FOUNDATION.
