Join us for a heartwarming and impactful day at the Memorial Day Run & March on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in beautiful Colorado Springs, El Paso! This annual event is not just a run; it’s the largest food donation event in Colorado dedicated to feeding homeless Veterans. Participants can choose from a variety of challenges, including a 5K Run/Ruck, a 10K Run/Ruck, or a 30K Ruck March. To participate, simply fill your rucksack or backpack with 25 pounds of nonperishable food items and embark on your chosen distance.
At America the Beautiful Park, you'll be surrounded by a community of civilians, Veterans, and uniformed military members all coming together for a noble cause. Don't miss out on the chance to make a difference while enjoying a day of camaraderie and competition. Plus, all registered participants will receive a race t-shirt (to the first 100 registrants), a finisher medal, and a timing bib. Whether you're running, rucking, or simply supporting from the sidelines, your involvement will help provide essential support to local homeless Veterans. The Memorial Day Run & March invites civilians, Veterans, and uniformed Military to challenge themselves in friendly competition while helping feed homeless Veterans. We have three category events to choose from 5K Run/Ruck, 10K Run/Ruck, 30K Ruck March, and a &k for Sartor.
Fill your rucksacks or backpacks with 25 pounds of nonperishable foods and set off on a 5, 10, or 30K route. When finished, empty your bags and help us raise food to feed Colorado's homeless Veterans. If you're at the in-person event, we will take the food from you at the end.
Proceeds from your registration (and donations!) go directly to helping Special Forces Foundation. We encourage you to share this page and get friends and family involved to support the cause! Thank you on behalf of SPECIAL FORCES FOUNDATION.
