Middle Creek 5 Mile Trail Challenge & Kids Run
***This race is a RunPA Event***
Please DO NOT contact Middle Creek Wildlife and/or
the PA Game Commission for any event information.
This event has been graciously approved by the Middle Creek Wildlife Management and the PA Game Commission. With a portion of the proceeds being donated to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area for use maintaining the hiking trails on the property.
LOCATION
July 15, 2023 Race Start 10AM
Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area Visitors Center:100 Museum RoadStevens, PA 17578
This will be the start and the finish for the race. The Visitors Center will be open including use of the public restrooms. PLEASE keep all facilities clean as they are allowing use of their facilities versus a bunch of porta potties.

There is a strict NO LITTERING policy for this race. If you are caught littering you will be immediately disqualified from the race.
EVENTS
5 Mile Trail Challenge
This will be a 5 mile trail run using the Spicebush Trail, up the Valley View Trail to the Horseshoe Trail then down Elder's Run Trail and back to the finish along the Middle Creek Trail etc.... This run is for ages 13 and up.
There will be an aid station at the start and finish and one along the course.
Kids Run (THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR ALL KIDS 12 & UNDER)
*** IMPORTANT NOTICE***-Sign in as a Guest when registering your child, do not register as yourself ***
This will be about 1.5 miles on the Conservation Trail. A fun loop for kids up to ridge, through forest, field and wetlands. Great for Kids of all ages. Kids run is for kids ages 12 and under. Parents feel free to run with your child!
Aid station only at the start and finish for the kids run.
REGISTRATION
Bib pickup/registration will start at 8:30am-9:30am REGISTRATION PICK UP WILL CLOSE PROMPTLY AT 9:30AM
REGISTRATION PRICING:5 MILE RACE$35 Until June 30th$45 After June 30th
KIDS RUNFREE
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female finishers and the top three Male and top three Female in the follow age categories.
19 and under20-2930-3940-4950-5960 and over Overall Male/Female
5 Mile Challenge all finishers will receive a tech shirt if registration is received by June 22nd After June 22nd nothing is guaranteed.
KIDS RUN all finishers will receive a medal.

COURSE MARKINGS
The course is WELL MARKED with Orange Ribbon and Directionals. Just like on a road you read the signs IN FRONT OF YOU!!!! that wi keep you on the right path. only look at what is ahead of you as there are several intersections with directional signs pointing you in the right direction. IT IS ULTIMATELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RUNNER TO STAY ON COURSE,
