Each loop brings you back to the vibrant heart of the event at the Maypole, where you'll find ample hydration and a supportive crowd cheering you on. With cooling stations and access to your personal gear every lap, you'll have everything you need to conquer the heat. Participants will also receive a performance tech shirt and a chance to earn custom medals and buckles for finishing. Organiser's Description
Set during the absolute peak of the summer heat, Midsommar challenges runners to conquer a deceivingly straightforward 5-mile loop under the relentless July sun. Whether you are tackling your very first 5-mile trail run or attempting to survive 100 miles in the midsummar glare, every single distance will test what youre made of.
There are no dark forests to hide in, no cool mountain breeze coming to save youjust you, the loop, and the sun.
SUN THE CHALLENGE
YOU WILL RUN A REPEATING 5-MILE LOOP STARTING AND ENDING AT THE MAYPOLEOUR CENTRAL HUB, MAIN AID STATION, AND RACE PARTY HQ.
Because every loop brings you right back through the heart of the event, youll never be more than a few miles from ice, liquid hydration, and a cheering crowd. But don't let the convenience fool you: stepping back out into the heat for one more lap is where the real mental battle begins.
DISTANCES OFFERED
5 Miles (1 Loop) - A fast, fiery summer dash.
15 Miles (3 Loops) - The ultimate hot-weather workout.
50K (6 Loops + short spur) - A true test of heat management.
50 Miles (10 Loops) - Halfway to insanity.
100 Miles (20 Loops) - The ultimate Midsommar rite of passage.
Night 5 Mile - Suns gone but the loop isn't
Night 50k - Knock the 50k out at night or maybe add it on from another morning distance

The Maypole (Main HQ): Fully stocked with cold fluids, electrolyte brews, ice buckets, sponge douses, solid fuels, and hot food starting in the evening.
Ice & Cooling: Ice bandanas and cooling stations will be available to keep your core temp down loop after loop.
Drop Bag Access: Because its a 5-mile loop, you have access to your personal gear, nutrition, and crew every single lap.
