Organiser's Description
Join us for the sixth annual Miles for Midwest 5K Run benefitting Midwest Food Bank Georgia Division!! The 5K course will begin at the Midwest Food Bank Facility in Peachtree City, Georgia and take you on a scenic run along the cart paths. Race registration is $40 from January 1March 31, 2026, and will be $45 from April 1May 8, 2026. ($5 discount will be taken off of registrations for those who are under 18 at checkout). In-person registration available the morning of the run at $50 for adults and $45 for children under 18. Registration table opens at 7:00 AM on the day of the run. This family-friendly run begins at 8 AM. Take your time and tour our facility to learn how you can be involved at Midwest Food Bank to serve our local community.
Remember that all proceeds from the race go directly toward our mission to alleviate hunger and malnutrition. Every $1.00 donated allows us to share $30.00 worth of food with our local community!
*No strollers, wheelchairs, bikes, or dogs will be allowed on the run due to liability issues.
**T-shirts can only be guaranteed to runners who register by March 31st, 2026.

Virtual? How does it work: 1.) Register to run/walk/crawl the 5K distance on a course of your choosing (or treadmill). You have two weeks to complete the distance. The event runs from 12:00 a.m April 25th, 2025 until the start of the Miles for Midwest 5k event at 8:00 a.m May 9, 2025. 2.) If you want your times published on our leader board, please submit your times via RunSignup. We are using the honor system. 3.) For local residents, we are offering an in person pick-up option of race swag on May 8th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at our warehouse. Not a resident of Peachtree City, Georgia or can't make it to pick up your swag... no worries! We will mail your gear right to your door.
