Hi my name is Amelia and I am 23 months old. After only 35 weeks in my mommys tummy, I decided I was ready to meet the world! Unfortunately I spent 2 months in the NICU giving all of the Doctors and Nurses a hard time because no one could figure me out. After being transferred to Childrens Hospital, genetics finally diagnosed me at 3 months old with a rare syndrome called Cornelia De Lange, also known as CDLS. It was a completely random genetic mutation we did not expect. I am tiny but mighty! I will always be small and delayed. I just started crawling and I am ALMOST sitting on my own. I am g-tube dependent but mommy and my nurse have been working very hard with me to eat orally. I have spent a lot of my life in Childrens Hospital. It is my home away from home. I will have a life long relationship with them and the 11 specialists that follow my care. Help me raise money for an amazing cause to help others just like me!
My mommy went to nursing school just so she could take even more extra special care of me! In order to graduate, she has to do a community service project for Indiana County Technology Center. She wants to pay it forward by raising money for Childrens Hospital! We could not have made it this far in my advancements without them.
My mommy bought a house in the Bear Rocks Community 5 years ago before I was even thought of! We love it here! Its like forever camping! We will be hosting the event in our community ! Whats better than walking with a beautiful mountain scenery?! Come join us! It will be 15 dollars to register for the event. There will be many great things set up under the pavilion also for everyone such as raffle baskets, t-shrits, face painting, food, and water to help raise more money! 100% of our donations will be going to Children's Hospital!

Registration will start at 8 am under the Bear Rocks Pavilion and the walk will start at 9 am! A BIG thanks to Bear Rocks for letting us use the club and area!
