But that's not all! Miles for Mutts is also home to a thrilling costume contest where you can showcase your creativity and compete for prizes in categories like Best Human, Best Canine, and Best Dynamic Duo. Dogs are more than welcome to join the fun, as long as they're leashed and up-to-date on their vaccines. All human participants will receive a race t-shirt and finishers medal, with awards for top finishers in various age categories for the timed 5K and 10K. Organiser's Description

Join us for the 5th Annual Miles for Mutts - 5K, 10K and 1 mile Fun Run benefiting Dogslife! Miles for Mutts is more than just a race! It's an opportunity to help families with financial challenges afford critical cancer treatment for their beloved dogs. Whether you run or walk, all participants will enjoy a scenic course that takes you over the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge with amazing views of Downtown Dallas on a USATF Certified Route.

We will also be featuring a COSTUME CONTEST WITH PRIZES! Compete in categories: Best Human, Best Canine or Best Dynamic Duo!

**Dogs are welcomed!! Each pup must be up to date on vaccines, on a leash and accompanied by an adult. You do not need a dog to participate.

SWAG:

All human participants will receive a race t-shirt and finishers medal. Prizes will be awarded for age group winners in the timed 5K and 10K. Any registrations for the in-person race after October 11, 2024 should plan to pick up their race packet in person on race day. See options below.

PACKET PICK UP:

Early Packet Pick up will be available at Luke's Locker (3046 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas) on Friday, October 18th from 11 AM-2 PM. Race day pick up will be available starting at 7:00am!

AGE GROUP AWARDS:

Awards will be given for first, second and third place finishes. Age groups are 19 and below, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+

FUN-RAISING:

FUN-raising is a social fundraising strategy that allows advocates like yourself to raise money on behalf of Dogslife. Do not worry! We will help provide tips and methods that assist in leveraging your existing social networks and relationships. The money you raise will go _directly_ to aid programmatic needs.
