Starting at 8:00 AM from Mission County Park Pavilion 2, this fully supported ride features moto marshals ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Riders will carry the name of a fallen hero on their bib, and each mile will be dedicated in their memory. The event will also include the poignant Memorial Mile, showcasing the faces and names of select fallen heroes. With registration, participants will receive a commemorative challenge coin, event t-shirt (while supplies last), and the chance to connect with Gold Star Families. The Military City Miles & Memories Bike Ride takes place in San Antonio and is a charity memorial that honors fallen service members while raising money for Memories of Honor. [http://memoriesofhonor.org] Participants can choose from various distances to accommodate all levels of cyclists. This bike ride is a great way to show our appreciation and support for Gold Star Families, who have made the ultimate sacrifice. We hope you will join us in this special tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. This ride is _produced in partnership with Team Taco. _
WHAT MAKES THIS RIDE SO UNIQUE?
* This ride is a fundraiser that benefits Memories of Honor.
* Each participant will ride in honor and memory of a fallen service member by carrying their name on one of our Fallen Hero Memorial Bibs.
* Each mile is dedicated in honor and memory of a fallen hero.
* Experience the Memorial Mile, lined with signs containing the names and faces of select fallen heroes.
